Ravindra Jadeja is undoubtedly one of the best fielders in world cricket. The fans have witnessed his fielding prowess on a number of occasions. He is always on his toes when it comes to fielding and when his teammates are unable to deliver their best, it irks him. The same was seen in CSK’s match against Kings XI Punjab on Sunday.
Chennai Super Kings locked horns with Kings XI Punjab on Sunday. It was a crucial game for both the teams as they were sitting at the bottom of the table. KXIP openers KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal did what they have been doing since the beginning of the tournament; giving a solid start to the team. The CSK bowlers looked frustrated as both the KXIP openers notched up yet another half-century partnership.
Ravindra Jadeja and Kedar Jadhav exchanged words
CSK’s head coach Stephen Fleming, in particular, was not happy with the efforts of his players on the field. The frustration on his face could be clearly seen. While CSK bowlers were trying to contain the runs and get wickets, one incident that involved Ravindra Jadeja and Kedar Jadhav caught everyone’s attention.
In the 16th over of the inning, Sam Curran was bowling to Pooran as he hit the delivery into the deep where Kedar Jadhav was deployed. Jadhav didn’t rush to the ball, instead waited for it to come to him, allowing KL Rahul and Pooran to complete the second run easily. Jadeja was distraught at the laidback effort of Jadhav and rebuked him on the field. The two had a heated exchange of words.

Eventually, CSK had the last laugh as they won the match emphatically by 10 wickets. They had suffered three straight losses before this match and really needed a win to keep their hopes up. On the other hand, KXIP has now lost four out of their five matches and are at the bottom of the table.
