Talking to India Today, Sunil Gavaskar said, “If I had about 20 minutes with him, I would be able to tell him the things he might have to do. It might help him, I am not saying it will help him but it could, particularly with regards to that off-stump line. Having been an opening batter, having been troubled by that line, there are certain things that you try and do. If I get 20 minutes with him, I might be able to tell him.”
The Indian cricketing legend offered to help Kohli in good spirit, but Twitter responds with memes considering the past events that have transpired between Kohli and Gavaskar. It goes back to one of the IPL games when Kohli was dismissed quite early in his inning and Gavaskar, with no malicious intent said that Virat Kohli has only trained against Anushka’s balls during the lockdown.
