Meanwhile, Cheteshwar Pujara has registered for the upcoming IPL auction. The test specialist said that if given chance he can do well in IPL. The base price of Pujara is 50 Lakh and it is being expected that the batsman can get a bid. IPL 2021 auction will take place in Chennai on 18 February.
A total of 1097 players have registered for the auction, out of which 817 players are from India while 283 are overseas players. Besides Pujara, S Sreesanth and Arjun Tendulkar will be players to look out for on 19 February. Sreesanth eying an IPL contract after more than 7 years while it will be Arjun’s debut in the auction.
