The England Cricket Team handled Team India a crushing defeat on Tuesday and created history by chasing the biggest target ever as an England Test side. Despite the visitors dominating the majority of the first three days of the test match, the Englishmen tightened their grasp on the match completely by the end of day 4 and completed the chase comfortably with 7 wickets remaining, on the fifth day. Meanwhile, England Cricket has trolled Virat Kohli for his animated reactions during the 5th test, via a Twitter post.
Post the win, England Cricket’s Twitter handle published a picture from the Kohli-Bairstow tussle which happened on the 3rd day of the test. The former Indian Captain who is known for his aggressive nature was involved in a verbal spat with Jonny Bairstow. Kohli was heard asking Bairstow to stand in the crease and bat, and not tell him what to do. He was then seen making gestures with his hand, putting a finger on his lips in order to tell Bairstow to keep quiet.

Bairstow’s brilliance with the bat
Bairstow had gotten fired up after the incident and due to him being in the form of his life, he responded well with the bat. He changed gears and went on the bat aggressively, hitting boundaries all over the ground. The right-hander scored a century and took England to a total of 284. Later in the second innings when England needed 378 to win, he along with Joe Root put up an unbeaten stand of 269 runs and took his side over the line. He scored an unbeaten 145-ball 114 in the second innings and was also adjudged as the ‘Player of the match’.
