Suryakumar Yadav is the man of the moment for Mumbai Indians. The right-handed batsman has been in great touch throughout this IPL and has shown amazing batting abilities. In fact, many people were surprised when he was not picked in the Indian squad that was announced on Monday for the Australia tour.
The Turbanator Harbhajan Singh expressed his displeasure on the same as he firmly believes that Suryakumar Yadav is now ready to don the Indian jersey. Yadav’s batting prowess was on display yet again in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday. Yadav made an unbeaten 79 to help his team get two vital points.
Suryakumar Yadav kept his head calm
Suryakumar Yadav got the better of every RCB bowler as he hit boundaries at will. His fluent batting surely irked the RCB skipper who tried to get under the skin of the batsman. The incident took place in the 13th over when Dale Steyn was bowling to Suryakumar Yadav who had already hit 3 boundaries in the over.
Yadav played the last ball straight to covers where Kohli was fielding. He picked up the ball and started walking towards the batsman. All this time Kohli kept staring Yadav in the eye but the latter was not threatened as he kept his head calm and did nothing but stare back. Kohli then stood right next to the batsman and Yadav walked away quietly.

Suryakumar Yadav surely handled the whole situation pretty sensibly. He didn’t let the incident cause any harm to his batting flow and continued till the end to take his team home. Mumbai Indians have got 16 points now and are on the top. They are the strongest contender to enter the playoffs. They still have 2 games left which will help their cause. On the other hand, RCB is still at number 2 with 14 points.
