Sound Waves on the jersey symbolize Fans’ Chants
There’s a lighting-blue sound-wave-like pattern on the shirt which is refreshing to see. “This is the first time in the history of Indian cricket that fans have been memorialized on a jersey. It carries their chants and cheers from iconic past matches, transformed into unique sound-wave patterns,” quotes an MPL release while addressing the pattern.
BCCI prez and former Indian captain Dada has also appreciated the kit and feels there’s no better way to channel the excitement of The Bharat Army. BCCI secretary Jay Shah also resonates with the viewpoint and has said that “The story behind the jersey is a story of every Indian Cricket Fan. We are sure that wearing this will be a matter of great pride for both the team and supporters alike.”
Carrying a price tag of ₹1,799, the new shirt is now available on the MPLSports website for the fans to buy. Sport it to the stadium, or wear it while supporting The Men In Blue from the comfort of your sofa. As u like it.
