Ever since the lockdown, all the Indian cricketers have been spending time in their respective homes. They have been away from cricketing action, but for a few the lockdown has proved to be really amazing. Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has joined the list of cricketers who either got engaged or hitched this year.
Chahal has been spending his time at home in Haryana. He was trending for posting many TikTok videos and really wanted to be back on the field. Chahal shared the good news on his Instagram handle as he posted pictures of his engagement ceremony with his family and fiancé Dhanashree Verma. “We said “Yes” along with our families #rokaceremony,” was the beautiful caption for the post.
As far as Dhanashree Verma is concerned, she is a digital content creator. She is a YouTuber, doctor, dancer, and founder of Dhanashree Verma Company. She posts dance videos on her YouTube channel which has over a million subscribers. Chahal had earlier shared a few videos with her and he also used to post about her work in his Instagram posts and stories.
Yuzvendra Chahal will feature in IPL 2020
On the work front, Chahal will soon be seen in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which is going to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tournament is all set to start from September 19 with the final taking place on November 10. Chahal will resume his services for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), captained by Virat Kohli.
Apart from marriages and engagements, Hardik Pandya’s wife Natasa Stankovic gave birth to a baby boy recently. Currently, all the Indian players are gearing up for the IPL before touring Australia for the four-match Test series. Chahal will join the team for the limited-overs series.
