In the past time, Ravi Shastri’s name was linked with two actresses from a different era of Bollywood.

Ravi Shastri and Amrita Got Engaged in 1986

Ravi Shastri and Amrita’s affair was one of the most talked topics of the 80s. This affair had come to the public eye after Amrita and Ravi posed together for a magazine cover. They both had made the news public with their photoshoot. According to the India Today report, they both have dated each other for a while and then they got engaged in 1986. However, they couldn’t make the relationship towards marriage. And results in a breakup after getting engaged with each other.

Shastri was quoted as saying, “I definitely don’t want an actress wife. I am chauvinistic. Her home should be her first priority.” To which Amrita had replied, “At the moment I’m too involved in my career to give it up. But I’m sure after a couple of years, I will be ready to become a full-time wife and mother.”

But their love story couldn’t last for more time and they called off their relationship. Then Ravi Shastri married with Ritu in 1990 and Amrita married to Saif Ali Khan in 1991.

Ravi Shastri Rumoured Relationship with Airlift actress

The current Indian coach after taking divorce from Ritu, there was news that Indian team head coach was dating Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur (Airlift actress). In 2018, Buzz has it that Shastri, 56, is bowled over by the 36-year-old actress, and the news of their romance has spread like wildfire. However, the news was just a rumour. Reportedly, when Shastri was recently asked about his relationship with the Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur, he said, “Nothing to say when it is the biggest load of cow dung,”.
